The Sphere Man
There was a ladder in the mine, where miners would climb many feet up to the copper vein. The hole went up into the ceiling of the mine many many feet. The miners, in terrible conditions would climb up so long that many would slip off the ladder from the sweat on their hands and fall to their deaths at the bottom. A hundred miners were buried underneath your very feet, and when you walk down their souls are still below. Overworked to their deaths in hopes of earning value in their lives. The mine of novy bor, all these dead bodies and their spirits created a perfect mark for outer beings. Soon an X appeared in the mines and with it the sphere man entered the human world for the first time.
If you enter the mine, and hear the sound, the sphere is near. The being will move quickly and will try to touch you. Once you are touched you can not move. You are trapped in place until you starve to death alone in the dark, or someone carries you outside to fresh air. Some say since the sphere man does not kill you he is only trying to protect you from climbing the ladder, like the ones before you. Being trapped in place, you can not kill yourself for greed. Many years have passed and tourists are now allowed in the mine. The dead bodies still below you. They scratch the ground underneath you, but the sphere man has vanished, just a tall tale from one hundred years ago.
